view in infrared wave

These group of very special photo, taken by noctovisor by Zak van Biljon is called “view in infrared wave.” From the title we can understand that these photos are taken under the infrared wave, that’s the reason why it’s so different. These common view we can see every day become so different under his hand. And make me rethink about our world, about those beauty I ignored.

step by step

Merlin Kafka who is a designer graduate from University of Strathclyde. In his photograph I feels like I am walking on my way of life. Seeing the view, I have never seen. This kind of photos with this idea about step by step can always be found and seen, but the reason I like this group of photos is that, on the road. There is people there, sometimes walking, sometimes running or even driving in the car, which makes me feel really.

colors

David Agenjo David Agenjo is a figurative painter based in London. who has lived and worked in many places including: Dublin, New York, Shenzhen and Mumbai. Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, he did not formally study fine art and has not become embroiled in an obsession with a conceptual avant-garde. I choose his work to blog, because I like the way he uses color. Unlike many of the realism work I see, his is not using the direct color we can see every day, using blue for skin, two hand but in different color. He’s work is really interesting that the way he used with color and emotion.

Valerio d’ospina

In the painting by Valerio d’ospina which jump into my eye immediately when I saw it. There are so many different kinds of painting we can see for the internet. But Valerio d’ospina’s work it’s so nicely painted that I can even feel the time going back. The way of painting is not like the one which shows the painting like a photo. But to showing the brushwork which I like it very much.

some realism work

the power of introspection

In the video made by RSA Animate, “the power of introspection”, it’s about the power of empathy and telling people today to notice and thinking about that. Empathy can help people to understand others experience, emotion and needing. Empathy can even start a revolution. For example, the slavery in early 1780’s was still a common action. But because of in late 1780s people publish book about slavery, showing people how slavery is, in 1807 slavery is not legal any more. Empathy can be part of our life and helping us in many way like the relationship to others, the creativity and so on.

how to save the child

In the mind map we did for how to save a child from a metal jar our group thought a lot. Ask for help because is impossible to help a child in a metal jar full of water with just one people. Find some things which can help the child to keep alive waiting for help. Do something or using technology.

“the last supper”

In week5 poster we did is the poster about a picture changed from the famous painting “the last supper”. In these painting is people who is some heroes in rock music. During the time we work, we have a great time getting ideas from each group members, find out new things in the poster and finally do the poster, which is full of those information.

Hallucinogenic birds

In our 2d class we learned about the way to decorate a picture and showing the emotion from the shape and color. Some work I found from Fred Tomaselli, named “Hallucinogenic birds”. The way in the pictures about showing the ideas is really similar to what we have learned in class. But in these works the things repeat is not only simple shapes that we used but things, like flowers, eyes, body parts and so on. It’s really interesting idea to repeat all the things like that, which showing the craziness and chaos.

lobby

These two picture I take from a department which is near to Nafa has an interesting space there. The lobby, actually is not that large as we see from the photos. But with the help of its decoration and the using of color it becomes like an empty space. The floor which uses line makes me feeling speed and direction, pointing to the further space. And the simple color roof also helped a lot.
